Have you ever woken up beside someone you regretted sleeping with?

Have you ever woken up beside someone you regretted sleeping with?  Perhaps most of us have been there.  No need to fret.  Getting it on is part of the whole attraction ritual and it is part of our experience as humans.  Still feeling a bit of shame?  Here are ways you can move past the regret and more towards seeing the experience as a lesson learned and an opening for a more dynamic experience today.

Remember The Best Part of The Experience

Sometimes something that was not so bad is made out to be bad because we think more about the bad than the good.  Make sense?  Feelings of regret and shame are often exacerbated by negative thinking.  So think on the bright side?  What are a few things that you liked about the experience and what made you go there in the first place?

Agree To Disagree

If it truly was with someone you regretted being with, make sure that person knows that the experience was simply that; just an experience.  Do not let them think of the possibilities of another go.  Otherwise, you might find yourself regretting yet another minage a deux, or for the more experienced trois.  In any case, living a life of regret can be a heavy burden to carry.

Why and How

And before you beat yourself up, check your tactics.  How did you end up in bed with this person and why?  Every experience is a lesson learned and gets us closer to what we want and need.

How To Make it More Pleasurable Next Time

Last but definitely not least, ponder the ways to make your experiences more pleasurable on your next date with someone you won’t regret. And ahem, this time check out what Romantix has to offer to make the experience one to be remembered.  Because this time, “it’s going to be great tonight.”
